Enter your numbers to estimate what you'd repay Splitero. The calculator applies Splitero's published 4.99% fee (min $1,500), 25% / $600,000 limits, 75% combined limit and 17.99% Safety Cap.

—Cash after 4.99% fee
—Estimated repurchase
—Effective yearly cost
—Same cash via HELOC (interest-only, paid off at end)
  • Home value at settlement—
  • Split Percentage × value—
  • Safety Cap limit—
  • Combined loan-to-value at closing—

Estimates only. Your Split Percentage, appraised values and closing costs come from your Splitero offer. The HELOC comparison assumes interest-only payments at a constant APR, with the balance repaid at the end, and ignores HELOC closing costs.

How the math works

  1. Fee = max(4.99% × investment, $1,500); cash received = investment − fee.
  2. Future value = today's value × (1 + yearly change)years.
  3. Share owed = Split Percentage × future value.
  4. Safety Cap = investment × (1 + 17.99%/12)12 × years.
  5. You repay the lower of the share owed and the Safety Cap.
  6. Effective yearly cost = (repurchase ÷ cash received)1/years − 1.

Tips for reading the result

  • Run a short horizon (2–3 years) and a long one (10+). The cap usually decides short settlements.
  • Try 0% and a negative price change — a falling market lowers the payoff but rarely below the investment early on.
  • Compare the effective yearly cost with any HELOC, home equity loan or personal loan rate you can actually get.
